Cash:
You do not have to use Paypal to purchase items from Half Letter Press. We are happy to accept well-concealed cash in U.S. dollars, particularly for smaller purchases. Paying in cash allows us avoid Paypal fees and makes your support go further to advance our work.

Stamps:
We also welcome payment in unused U.S. postage stamps for values equivalent to your total purchase.

Bartering:
Bartering is good! If you have ideas for things you’d like to barter in exchange for either Temporary Services or Half Letter Press materials, please feel free to contact us with a proposal. Barters could include: unused gift cards that we might be able to exchange for goods or services to advance our creative practice, multiples of publications or materials you have made or own that we could either resell or use toward building a library, unwanted plane tickets, gift certificates redeemable for health insurance or massage therapy, jugs filled with unleaded gas for our cars, a 6 month rent payment on our P.O. Box, a 12 month payment on our web hosting, beer, wine, bourbon, and other alcoholic intoxicants and social lubricants, your record collection or your dad’s record collection, access to a high quality photocopier or offset printer, production assistance at our next booklet stapling and folding party, a place to crash for the night in the event that any of us need to or want to visit your city, a meal prepared by you, food.

Donations:
Donations to a cause we support: In special cases, we might give you things from Half Letter Press for free in exchange for you making a donation to a cause that we support (for example, an artist or group that is being unfairly persecuted for their ideas, or an artist or person whose work we admire that has suffered a catastrophic personal emergency or health crisis and needs immediate aid. Let us know who you want to support and what you might like from us in exchange for directly helping that particular person or cause.
