Every wondered about what rich art collectors have in their bathrooms? Napkins is one of the most sneaky artist books we've spotted in a while, and a great idea for a publication. Alexander Wolfe loves paper, flyers, and printed bits of this and that in general, and this booklet extends that interest in an enjoyably subversive way. Here is the background from this book itself:
"The napkins in this booklet were generously provided by my former coworker and friend Marc Ruecker.
Ruecker, formerly of the bands Hatewave and Bobby Conn & the Glass Gypsies, is a musician and art handler from Chicago, Illinois. For the past five years, Ruecker has collected these napkins from numerous clients homes while handling art in the Chicago area.
These napkins were typically found on a bathroom countertop, used to dry the hands after washing, and discarded."
