IC-98's publications are always immaculately designed and realized. This beautiful little book is their tenth publication in their tenth year of existence. This publication was generated during a 2-month residency they did in 2008. It is a follow up publication to their 8th: Foucault's Sleep. They asked several people to respond to the question "Where would you escape to (from Tokyo)?" Escape isn't formulated simply as a question about where people would take a holiday, rather it is intended more to question how one can get away from the way Tokyo (and Japanese capitalism) structure everyone's existence. IC-98 includes several of their own proposals in drawing form in response to the contributors.
