Lisa Anne Auerbach has been knitting her funny, provocative, passionate, and sometimes enjoyably antagonistic political sweaters for 18 years. This book documents a one-day sweater retrospective (a sweatrospective?) where students at Bennington College wore these pieces and took a walk through the snow together as a group. Each sweater is documented on the body of the student that wore it, notes about the collected works are included, as is an essay about knitting by Auerbach and a statement from curator Anne Thompson.
